This website is operated by Krition Oy (Business ID: 3418452-2), operating under the auxiliary business name Paincone ("we", "us", or "our"). Paincone operates this online store and provides related information, tools, products, and services to you, the customer ("you" or "User"). Paincone is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

 

By visiting our site or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms"), including any additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink.

SECTION 1 – GENERAL CONDITIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you have received consent from a parent or legal guardian to make purchases on this website.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any legitimate reason at any time. You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted over various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks in accordance with applicable security standards.

SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear in the store. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate.

All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

Statutory Rights: Nothing in these Terms of Service affects or restricts your statutory consumer rights under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki).

SECTION 3 – ORDERS, PRICES, AND PAYMENT

When you place an order in our online store, you are making an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation will be sent to your email after placing the order; however, a binding purchase contract is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation or deliver the products.

  • Prices and Taxes: All prices listed in the online store include Finnish Value Added Tax (VAT / ALV) unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges are displayed separately prior to order confirmation.

  • Payment Methods: Payments are processed securely via our payment gateway partners (such as Shopify Payments or local bank/payment services). You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions made at our store.

If we make a change to or cancel an order, we will notify you by contacting the email address or phone number provided at the time the order was placed.

SECTION 4 – SHIPPING AND PASSING OF RISK

Delivery times stated on our website are estimates. We aim to deliver all products within a reasonable and customary timeframe.

Under mandatory Finnish consumer protection law, the risk of loss or damage to the goods during transit remains with Paincone until you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) have physically received the goods. If an item arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at skriikkula@krition.ai.

SECTION 5 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY RETURN POLICY)

As a consumer purchasing online in Finland and the EU, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase and return the products without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal:

  1. Notice: You must notify us of your decision to cancel the purchase in writing by email at skriikkula@krition.ai within 14 days of receiving the product.

  2. Return Period: The products must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after submitting your cancellation notice.

  3. Condition of Goods: You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item. Items should be returned in their original packaging whenever possible.

  4. Refunds: We will refund all payments received from you (including the cost of our standard delivery option) without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned item or proof of return. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

(Exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply to hygiene products that have been unsealed, custom-made or personalized items, and perishable goods.)

SECTION 6 – STATUTORY WARRANTY AND DEFECT LIABILITY (VIRHEVASTUU)

We comply with statutory seller liability for defects (virhevastuu) under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. If a product you purchase is defective, damaged, or does not match its description:

  1. You have the right to request that the item be repaired or replaced with a non-defective product free of charge within a reasonable timeframe.

  2. If repair or replacement is impossible or would cause unreasonable expense, you have the right to a price reduction or to cancel the purchase (full refund).

  3. Please report any defect to us at skriikkula@krition.ai within a reasonable time after discovering it.

SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

This website and its original content, trademarks, logos, images, text, and software are the property of Paincone / Krition Oy or its licensors and are protected by Finnish, EU, and international copyright and intellectual property laws. Reproducing, distributing, or modifying any content without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

SECTION 9 – GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms of Service and any purchase agreements made through the online store shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct negotiations between you and Paincone:

  • Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta): Consumers have the right to submit the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board for free out-of-court dispute resolution (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Prior to filing a claim with the board, consumers should contact the Consumer Advisory Service (Kuluttajaneuvonta) at www.kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta.

  • EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform: Consumers residing in the EU may also use the European Commission's ODR platform available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

  • Courts: Consumers retain the right to bring legal proceedings in the Finnish district court of their place of residence (domicile).
